Eva Klimackova

Dancer, choreographer and teacher born in Slovakia, based in Paris since 2001. She studied in the Academy of performing Arts in Bratislava (1995 – 2000) and in the Dance department of the University Paris 8. For many years she has been practising Contact improvisation, Tai chi chuan and Body Mind Centering (certified in 2016).

She participated in divers projects, in collaboration with other dancers, musicians, visual artists, actors, circus artists and choreographers in the following countries: Slovakia (Anna Sedlackova, Studio tanca, Milan Kozanek, Kata Mojzisova, Marta Polakova…), Czech republic (company Dejadonné – Simone Sandrony, company Duwadance), France (Kubilai Khan Investigations, Laurent Goldring, Faustin Linyekula, company Petite Fabrique, cie Dernier soupir …), Belgium (company Dame de Pic – Karine Ponties, David Hernandez, Lise Duclaux) …

She teaches regularly Contemporary dance, Improvisation and Contact improvisation: in Paris ( Ménagerie de verre, Rencontres chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis, ACTs, Micadanses, Canaldanse), in CCN d’Orléans, in Grenoble ( Le Pacifique – CDC ), in CESMD La Rochelle and Poitiers, in Brussels (Espace catastrophe, Lasterstudio, Jett), in Prague (ProArt, Dot 504, Druna), in Slovakia (Elledanse and Lab1 in Bratislava, National conservatory in Banska Bystrica), in Vietnam (National conservatory), Warsaw, Centre Arhea in Bellac (people mentally disabled), for Studio Kabako (Congo) …

In 2007 she founded the company E7KA (based in France) and created following performances:  Alzbeta Hlucha (2007), Alzbeta (2008), Ivanuska (2009), Touch.ed (2011), the diptych MOVE / (2013) in collaboration with Laurent Goldring Ouvrir le temps (2016), PURE / (2017), TRACES (2019) and MELTING TIMES (2020) presented in France, Belgium, Slovakia, Czech republic, Slovenia, Germany, Latvia, Italy, Poland and HongKong.
